  • Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) AMCP is a national professional association of pharmacists, health care practitioners, and others who develop and provide clinical, educational, and business management services on behalf of more than 200 million Americans covered by a managed pharmacy benefit.
  • American Pharmacists Association Founded in 1852, APhA is the largest association of pharmacists in the United States, with more than 62,000 practicing pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, student pharmacists, pharmacy technicians as members.American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) ASCP focuses on optimal medication management and improved health outcomes for older persons. E-membership to ASCP is free for students and new practitioners.
  • American Society of Health-System Pharmacists In 1942, hospital pharmacists established the American Society of Hospital Pharmacists, affiliated with APhA. In 1947, ASHP and APhA jointly established a hospital pharmacy division with permanent staffing. Since then, ASHP has progressed from 153 charter members to 40,000 today.
  • International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Founded in 1912, the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) is the global federation of national associations of pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists and is in official relations with the World Health Organization (WHO).
